Architectural Design & Project Management

Baird Design specialises in architectural design, technical design to comply or exceed building regulations and works specifications ensuring the Client has comprehensive details of what is required before the work is priced by building contractors.

This ensures a much more accurate understanding of the overall work and price quoted for the works by the building contractor at the outset and before any large financial commitment is made by the Client.

We undertake Project Management and Contract Administration of the construction work on site, coordinating the contract details, construction programme, construction quality and financial valuations of the work undertaken.

Our Client base includes commercial, institutional and private individuals. Some recent projects have been included on our gallery page and our core services are listed on our services page.

We specialise in projects where conservation is an important aspect of the design, or where new structures or extensions are required and quality of architectural detailing is essential.

Our approach to conservation techniques demands an understanding of the materials used and their historical context. We ensure that any repair, alteration or extension to a period or listed building is not to the detriment of the original building fabric or its architecture.

Baird Design is regulated by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the world’s leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction. For further information regarding the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors visit www.rics.org
